If this site feels useful to you, you will love the book. It is written in a similar way and is meant to be the grounded guide you need as you pursue all these exercises.
Like the site, the book is action-orientated with two-page chapters and a choose-your-own-adventure style. It gives you the context, nuance and all the details that the medium of the internet doesn’t allow for. It is meant to be carried with you as you go offline and begin meeting people, learning new things and experiencing a job search that feels like the career you eventually want to have.
I wrote this book because I realized career advice hasn’t changed since the ’70s even though our lives and our work has changed drastically. Today our careers are nonlinear, and the job advice we need should reflect this. The exercises in the book were written for a modern-day job search and if you put in the work and do the exercises you will find your ideal job.
I spent the last two years writing this book for you, and I am excited for you to read it.
If you have any questions, I would love to hear from you.
